The 8 Limbs of Yoga

Yoga is derived from the ancient language of Sanskrit’s root word “Yuj” which means to “yolk” or “unite.” Yoga aims to unite mind, body and soul along with being one with universal consciousness. To achieve Samadhi (internal bliss, enlightenment), one is encouraged to practice not just Asana (the physical practice) but all 8 limbs of Yoga.

Emphasis in the west has been put on the Asana practice, yet how many of us practice Yoga?

Learn and dive in deeper; yoga is so much more than a physical practice, exercise or stretching.
